Asian Carp: Managing a Menace


Many people consider Asian carp to be public enemy #1 when it comes to invasive species in the United States. Their decades-long colonization of the Mississippi River basin has brought them to the very edge the Great Lakes and a race is on to halt their arrival. Over three weeks, a reporter and I followed their trial south, documenting fishermen, scientists, chefs, politicians and everyday folks whose lives have been affected by this foreign fish.
